How do I create a welcome email?

A welcome email is an email sent to new subscribers after they sign up for your publication. It's a great opportunity to welcome them to your community, level-set expectations (send cadence, timing, topics of content, etc.), and encourage them to follow email best practices and add your email as a "VIP" or move to "Primary" tab. 




In order to create and customize a welcome email:

  1. Visit Settings and Publication
  2. Scroll down to Welcome New Readers
  3. Add a subject line and email text to activate 
  4. Click Save in the bottom right
